I am missing the intensity and exhaustion that follows CF style wods. My ankle surgery this past Monday went well, but it was far more damaged than anybody suspected. Two of the three ligments were completely gone and I had substantial cartilage loss (nearly bone on bone). Apparently, the orthopedic surgeon was in disbelief that I had been pain free since recovering from the December injury and even before (my left ankle had been a chronic issue since I was 16).
Hopefully, I can make it back to 100% or close to it. 3 weeks non-weight bearing is going to suck.

Paul – take the time to rest as your doc prescribed, but also know that Jason and Sally are great at modifying workouts to fit within what you are capable of doing! Just hang in there and you’ll be back in no time! Remember soft tissues take time…
I’m almost sorry that today is my off day. Maybe I’ll do this one tomorrow. It looks great!!
