Lot’s of Updates and INFO….PLEASE READ!!!

This is a holiday week so we will be having some hours changes. Please see the following changes and plan accordingly.
Thursday July 4th we will be open from 7am – 12 pm only.
Friday July 5th we will be open from 7am – 12 pm only also.

Start bringing in your friends to join our gym. Remember for every friend you bring in that signs up you will get $50 off of your August membership dues. Bring in enough people and I’ll owe you money….

I’d like some feedback from everyone that attended the Yoga classes this weekend. How did you like it? Would you like to see something like this on a weekly basis? Cost? Please give me your thoughts. I want to make this gym what you want but need your help to do it.

I have been approached about starting a challenge of some sort. Feedback time again. Do you want it to be nutrition based, weight loss, workout performance, Photo based body changes, Exercise Challenge for the month(5,000 squats, increasing burpees everyday etc)? Cost to get in, Prizes? Give me your thoughts and I’ll put something together.

The summer competition season is pretty slow in Phoenix…has something to do with people not wanting to melt in the heat, but the fall gets busy. If competing is something you are interested in doing Please come see me. If you have followed the competition programming I have posted in the past you will be directed to the website the team is following right now. If you haven’t followed our programming before or we feel you need a little bit more of a base level on the technical lifts we will begin to send out the competition program emails again next week.

  1. I think doing like a Helen challenge or another work out where we do it once then again in 1 month then again in another month and whoever imporves the most, wins is fun.

  2. Yoga was awesome! It was super challenging and Lori is so great! I would love to do that regularly!

  3. Loved the addition of yoga. Would definitely do it a couple of times a week. Complimentary to Crossfit. As one who cannot compete with the more athletic at the gym, I would be more likely to participate in a squat or burpee challenge as I personally need to get better at these basics to achieve my greater goals.

  4. Keep the new programs coming. I like the wow for time this week. I think any new challenge should be performance based as the last two were nutritional based.

  5. Yoga was good.. Very different than anything I’ve done. I would do it every now and then. I would like to see some classes on Olympic lifting. It would help with form and strength.

  6. I really enjoyed the yoga class. I would definitely participate in something like that on a regular basis.

  7. ****I like the idea of an Olympic lifting class****
I’m up for a challenge…I’d be more up for a weight loss type challenge however I understand the last challenge was the Whole 30…Can 2 challenges be going on in the same month??? One for Performance/Strength and One for Nutrition/Weight….I think you would have plenty of participation in both types of challenges.

  8. Yoga was great and Lori is a great instructor. I would do it regularly if it is offered at the gym. I am up for a challenge, however it would be cool to get a group to train for the next GORUCK Light in Phoenix on November 2nd. I am considering signing up for it, especially since Nick just completed his GORUCK Light. Yay, Nick! Here is a link. https://www.goruck.com/Events/Light

  9. I would love to have some scheduled yoga and we can play with what is needed i.e. active with some relaxation too:) you guys really rocked it!

  10. Yoga was good. I would do it when I could. The Sat 12:15 class was a great time for me. I’m always up for a challenge! I like the idea of improvement on a specific WOD a month later because that would incorporate strength and eating healthy for peak performance. (As long as no one sand bagged the workout the first time).

  11. I like like like the ideas everyone is saying. The WOWS every week no matter what they are provide a nice personal challenge, regardless of placement or outcome. The ideas of putting something in addition like benchmark workouts to see what improvements ate being made sounds good along with anything else you come up with. Thanks for creating an environment we can all participate in for the betterment of our lives. I’m interested in doing anything you come up with
