Who we are?
CrossFit Forever Strong is a community focused on living well. We believe in hard work, intensity, competition, and motivation. We will provide you with a daily workout and certified trainers to assist you through them. We don’t believe in anyone going to workout in a gym and not knowing what to do. Too much time at the gym is wasted and too many goals aren’t achieved, not because of a lack of motivation, but lack of knowledge and assistance. We aim to correct this problem.
At CrossFit Forever Strong it is our goal to redefine fitness in a competitive and motivating environment.Utilizing the CrossFit technique and philosophy we will motivate, educate and inspire individuals, adults and children alike, to reduce obesity and regain their ability to live a healthier lifestyle.

Jason is originally from a small town in upstate New York. When he left NY he moved to Las Vegas and began personal training full time. Jason has lived in Arizona for 6 years now, and loves it. He has over 9 years of training experience, and holds 8 nationally recognized certifications in Personal Training, Diet and Nutrition, and Coaching. He was one of 21 trainers selected, out of a group of over 4000 trainers, to travel to Beijing and work in the USOC High Performance Training Center during the 2008 Olympic Games. He did choose to pass on this opportunity in order to open Competitive Fitness but still considers it quite an honor.
Jason worked for the New York State Department of Corrections in a men’s maximum security prison for 5 years. He understands the demands and stresses facing Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, Soldiers, and all service personnel. He knows all too well that having one of these jobs means that you are not guaranteed to come home at night. He is dedicated to seeing that you are well prepared for whatever you may face during your shift, in hopes that you can fulfill the promise to your family to return home safe every night.
Jason maintains an athletic lifestyle. Sports range from cycling, soccer and swimming during his youth, to triathlons and marathons in recent years. Athletic achievements include: 3rd Place finish Toughest Competitor Alive 2003 NYS Law Enforcement Olympics, multiple medals during 2002 NYS Dept of Corrections Olympics, and various triathlons, including the 2007 Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon.
Jason had the opportunity to work in the classic “big box” gym. He trained moms, dads, athletes, morbidly obese, elderly, some local “Biggest Losers”, and everyone in between. During his time in the “big box” gym he noticed some key things missing. The lack of member focus is why he decided to open his own gym. He realized that people often don’t make the most of their time at the gym. It is not a lack of motivation that causes people to not succeed, but the lack of knowledge and help. A personal goal is more easily achieved when done in a caring and supportive community. CrossFit Forever Strong is that community.

Sally grew up in Ponca City, OK, and has been in Arizona for 12 years. She is a proud mother of 3 kids. Sally enjoys hiking, working out, hanging out with friends and helping others reach their goals.
Sally understands the demands of motherhood, raising a family, and how easy it is for moms to forget about themselves. She realizes that some moms even feel guilty about taking personal time. Having battled these feelings herself and her own weight issues, she is proud to say that she has recently lost over 70lbs. She wants to let people know that if she can do it, anybody can. She is focused on helping people reach their goals, whatever they may be. It is for that reason that she has chosen to become a trainer at CrossFit Forever Strong.

Bruce is a late bloomer to the gym life. Raised in Southern Utah, he has always experienced an active life. After High School, Bruce joined the Coast Guard as a part of the air rescue crew on the HH65A helicopters out of Los Angeles. When the air crew didn’t fly, they were busy playing street hockey, volleyball, basketball, and lifting a weight here and there – made it easy to stay fit. Then the babies came along…Charlie Nicole and Ryan Olivia were born and Bruce became Mister Mom for many years – and he was good at it!
In 2006 Bruce got a one-two punch to the reality gut when a picture of him from an Easter celebration revealed a round face and a body that packed 20 lbs more than his Coast Guard days. A few days later he and his wife, Tonya, saw Daniel Craig in Casino Royale at the theater. Seeing an actor age 40 in that remarkable of shape inspired the start of his transformation. After joining a traditional gym, Bruce was lucky enough to have a friend, Jen Guzman, turn him on to Crossfit. The changes in his physique and fitness that had eluded him in the traditional gym (even with a trainer) were happening quickly at Crossfit and he was hooked!
Bruce is an avid believer in the Grok nutrition lifestyle (Primal diet by Mark Sisson) and is becoming known for his “Bruce Bars” – a great paleo snack. He is currently EMT certified and working on securing a position with a fire department.

Mike Dressor
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer
Born and raised in Boise, ID, Mike grew up playing golf as his only sport. Throughout High school and his time at Arizona State, Mike battled weight issues and fought in vein to lose weight using “Convential Wisdom” methods such as long cardio sessions and “healthy” diets. He loved being outdoors and being active, but just couldn’t figure out how to take his health to the next level.
Mike and his wife Danielle were introduced to CrossFit while in Costa Mesa, CA in 2010. Since then, he has found a renewed sense of self confidence he’d never experienced before since joining CrossFit Foreverstrong in December of last year. After training for 9 months, Mike decided he wanted to learn as much as he could about CrossFit and use that knowledge to show others how to reach deep and find strength they’ve never found before. He is a true believer that everybody is capable of anything they want, and wants to help others get to new heights with their own health and fitness.
Mike is CrossFit Level 1 Certified, and thinks music in the gym should be loud and heavy on the bass. He is an avid Boise State football fan and shares his home with his beautiful wife Danielle and their Labradoodle, Patty Mayonnaise.
